Amazon had one of those $3 one day electronic offers on an old west novel by someone named Bausch. The title is “Far as the eye can see”.

Blew me away. A very capable guy heads west and leads a believable life of adventure.

Bausch has a wonderful eye for the west and ear for dialogue that rings true.

I loved everything about this book and I’m tough.

Often these bargain offers lead to books that range from not very good (which is why they

are so cheap) to good enough for the money.

This one really surprised me.
