Dancing toward rescue, worst decision ever

I just watched 7 Days in Entebbe.
While the majority of the film was competent, I was stunned at the Bob Fosse dance scenes.
During what would be the action climax, it was so distracting I was openly groaning in the theater as they intercut dancing with action.
One of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen in film.
