Everyone complains about flying. There is a lot to complain about.

But check this experience on our return flight from Costa Rica to Denver on United.

We bought the seats right behind the exit row. No more room but we didn’t want to pay for the extra legroom. On a five hour flight I was sorely tempted but the tickets were already steep.

I’m sitting behind a guy in the exit row who of course puts his seat all the way back even though he had more room than God.

A flight attendant comes by and stops to see me scrunched with my knees in my lap.

“That is so uncomfortable and that reclined seat makes it even worse. Why don’t you come sit here.” She points

to the exit row with no one in the aisle and middle seats.

“Really?” I was stunned.

“Of course”.

So i spend the five hours with legs crossed and extended in the lap of luxury.

I thanked her twice more and made a point of telling her on the way off the plane just how much it was appreciated.

She just smiled and said “no problem.”
