I lean of course to human support on the Hollywood writers strike.

Except.

There is so much bad writing in shows that I watch.

For example.

Star Trek. I loved the original show and the Enterprise version was quite good.

The newest version Strange Worlds got off to a good start in the first season. Pretty good

episodes, interesting characters.

So looking for even better in the second season I get shit.

The first three episodes were bad, silly, not engaging.

And then came the crew having their version of a Broadway play. So horrible I

fled before the ending.

Who are these writers?

I would almost pity them, since you can’t be edgy and sexy and off the wall anymore.

God forbid we get any version of Shatner barechested or wildly dressed seductive characters of both sexes to go with the action.

I am still leery of AI but I have to admit that if you plug in some good plot and action suggestions they

might very well do better than the human crap we are getting.
