My name for our local grocery story is “hell”, as in “it is time to go to hell”

Why so rough?

The aisles are narrow. Stocking goes on during busy times clogging the narrow aisle with carts of food.

Add to that, “displays” of food items in the damn aisle.

In some aisles the combination makes it almost impassable. I sometimes laugh and shake my head as we face

cart faceoff with some other shopper.

They are close to the point of completely blocking the aisle with displays and stocking carts.

Why go?

Let’s just say it close, has all the basics, and the light of my life likes to go there.

When we do visit new stores with wide aisles and no displays in the aisle, it is a breath of fresh air.

Walmart is a comfortable grocery shopping experience in comparison. Whoever thought you would say that?

We try to go when it is not so busy. Add lots of people including those who are racing with their carts oblivious of turns and other people, and you have a new layer of hell.
