We were headed to eat at a typical Italian joint this week and as I perused the menu I glanced down at the

soft drink menu.

Ice tea? Coke? $6 apiece!

Now I realize the old old $2 buck tea had moved on to $3 or even $3.50. But $6 buckes.

You know times have changed when the bargain $5 meal at a fast food place that is long gone has been

lapped by a $6 ice tea.

No charge for water.
