A guy was blocking the aisle staring full blown at the iPhone in his hand.

I dodged around him.

When I got to the exit and hit the sidewalk he had somehow managed to get in front of me, once again staring feverishly at his iPhone and blocking the sidewalk. This time I said excuse me and he moved over never looking up.

I thought the head shaking new reality was over.

I got in the car and as I was about to exit the lot, robo man was in front of me blocking the road, still staring down at this fucking phone.

I actually laughed as he managed to stumble to the side, never looking up.

I would tell you I got in my car and got to a light changing and the car in front of me not moving, and as I passed it it was him staring at his phone. But that didn’t happen keeping the story this side of Stephen King.

The future is scary.
