Hackman is one of my all-time favorites.

His movies and special moments are so good and often repeated and remembered.

Sometimes it is just fun to remember smaller and less noted ones.

I think his role in Night Moves doesn’t get the attention that it deserves.

And one moment sticks with me forever and makes me smile.

Hackman, whose character is named Harry, visits his ex wife and also present is her current boyfriend played by Harris Yulin, who is stroking a cat in the scene.

Harris keeps saying things in the third person like “Harry is getting upset” or “Harry believes…”

And then quietly Hackman, eating ice cream he got from the freezer, says “Harry thinks if you call him Harry one more time I’m going to take that cat and make you eat it.”

Love love love this guy as an actor.
