The Golden Globe nominees contained the usual list of serious and art based films and that is expected.

But it would be so much fun to see a lighter approach to what many of us moviegoers like to see and the people we enjoy.

How about recognition for Liam Neeson in Naked Gun. It was so much fun and he nailed it. It would also be a nice way to point out just how much Neeson is appreciated for his overall career.

There is, of course, no chance of this happening which is one reason I pay little attention to award nominations and shows.
