I love women’s basketball but I find the NCAA tournament to be painful.

Having to avoid seeing a top seed beat a bottom seed 110-30 again is a real bummer.

I can’t watch it, I know it is going to happen, and then I shake my head at the box score. Such disparity.

The final 16 is the soonest to begin, when the top teams only win by 20 or 30 on their way to great eight and a chance to see real competition.

It would be better to give the top four teams, the same one’s every year which is another problem, a bye so they don’t begin until the worst teams are eliminated and they can they beat an 8 or 9 seed by only 20 or 30 points.

The good stuff is about to begin but this first part of a drag, year after year.
