Nobody vs. Putin movie a sad but worthy reminder

I paid $4.95 last night and watched the Oscar winning documentary Mr. Nobody Against Putin on my home screen.
It was heart wrenching.
A teacher whose job it was to film activities at his small town school in Russia documents what Putin did to the schoolchildren when he started the war in the Ukraine.
The indoctrination. The lies in the curriculum. The “history teacher” explaining treason.
The visuals of young people so full of life and hope and promise facing this shutdown was painful as we saw these young men go off to war and often not come back.
It isn’t fun to watch but I’m glad this teacher smuggled out the film and made the movie. He is now in hiding in Europe.
If you ever want to treasure freedom of thought and dissent, there is no better reminder than these 90 minutes.
