I had the pleasure of seeing Ringo again recently.

Fun show, good supporting talent (Colin Hay is so much better doing his Men at Work hits with a full band instead of his solo concerts).

The highlights of the show for me are not Ringo’s songs, God love him. Some are ok but they are not great songs.

My favorite parts are when he gets behind the drums, which he does a lot, and sang “Boys” and my favorite of them all “I Wanna Be Your Man” while playing. Such great memories.

And while I fully understand how he doesn’t want to do Beatle songs that didn’t involve him in a singing role, I do wish he would get behind the drums and showcase his solo from “The End” from the White Album.

But Ringo can do whatever he wants and I have a big, genuine smile.

They aren’t making anymore Beatles.
