How bad is it?

In Taken 3, about a third of the way through the movie, police discover a video showing Liam Neeson’s wife being abducted, surely eliminating him as the key suspect.

So, they continue to chase him for most of the rest of the movie, even though they know

she was abducted!

That isn’t just bad writing, it is a criminal end to what was an entertaining series.
