What impresses me about George Martin and The Beatles that doesn’t really get a focus, is how they worked together so well for so long.

Martin was always willing to talk, but he never overstated his role or bragged.

Partnerships with groups and producers almost always end badly and never very long.

For the biggest rock band in the world to work with their producer for so long, so well, with so much mutual respect, it truly remarkable and a credit to all five.
