For a guy who claims to have no interest in English royalty and little fascination with rich English people, I sure as hell spend a lot of time with them on television.

I was hooked on Downtown Abbey.

I liked year one of The Crown, and despite the drop off is year two, I watched it. Although any more Princess Margaret and you would have to issue uppers to anyone who came near her.

Then I tried Victoria, and it is way, way better than the Crown. Ironically it gets downgraded as more soap opera, but I find the acting terrific and stories much more interesting than in The Crown.

I just finished the Irish potato famine and I was ready to invade England over their lack of help.

Good show.

I knew there as a reason The Kinks liked her.
