It’s hard for me to understand team interest in Tom Brady.

I get the famous and the accomplishments, and the natural curiosity about where he will play next year.

But if you are a team that seriously wants to go to the playoffs, why in the world would you spend a ton for an old quarterback who can’t move anymore.

It is so clear from watching successful teams you’ve got to at least have a quarterback who can scramble for first downs. And more and more quarterbacks run for yardage chunks.

Investing in Brady is ignoring the way the game is not only played today, but the way it will be played in the coming years.
