A really entertaining French flick on Amazon, “Les Miserables”.

Unlike the misleading title, this is a slice of mean streets in the outer reaches of Paris

where cops and criminals and children all try and survive.

The story builds to an unsatisfying conclusion, but it really holds up until then with some gritty characters.

And all in well under two hours.
