A new movie comes out Friday, The Uprising. A medieval action movie.

It is directed by Paul Greengrass.

A review mentioned how much he is respected for movies like the one about the ill fated 9/11 flight and Captain Phillips.

I thought uh oh.

It then mentioned that while he is highly respected he leaves some people cold for his extensive use of hand held cameras that whipsaw constantly and never stay still.

I get motion sickness. Movies that do that make me physically ill.

I don’t see how that approach truly adds to what we see on screen but different strokes I guess.

As for me, I would never see a Paul Greengrass movie unless there was a pledge of stillness.
