That incredible east coast tilt

The Royals win in the playoffs last night was an incredible game.

Surfing some national sports radio shows this morning the mention was almost like it was a duty, and they quickly returned to much more “interesting” topics.

On Dan Patrick they actually said the playoffs are of regional interest, thus they aren’t much of a talking point, unless you have something of national interest like Derek Jeter.

Do they even realize what they are saying?

If It had been the Yankees instead of the Royals playing that game, all regularly scheduled program would be suspended today emanating from the east coast across America.

My serious question remains. How would content change on national news and sports programs in all media if the participants woke up and went to bed in Des Moines?
