I read lots of autobiographies, mostly music and movie stars.

With the electronic library right price, I try all kinds. I picked up a new one by Kyle McLaughlin.

I don’t particularly care for Kyle, he seems bland. I never watched Twin Peaks, I didn’t care much for his movies with David Lynch, and the only movie he stood out for to me was Showgirls.

Well the book is good. Conversational, well written. It sucked me in for the storytelling.

My only beef is he hates Showgirls. Thought it was awful and writes its popularity off as a cult camp classic.

I loved Showgirls.

But I won’t hold it against him since the book was so good.
