Just watched a really good movie on DVD “71” about the troubles in Northern Ireland.

As is often the case unless it is a period piece, most of the dialogue was impossible to penetrate.

If it weren’t for them saying “fuck” or “fuckin” every third word, apparently a requirement in all modern British movies, I would have been even more in the dark.

In these movies, english subtitles would really be helpful, seriously.

The writer who said we are two people divided by a common language wasn’t kidding.
