For all the bitching about flying these days, I have to admit that it is often quite pleasant now while actually in the air.

People are so busy with electronic devices or sleeping they don’t talk.

And there is something about being in the air headed somewhere so fast that is sometimes mesmerizing and damn near exciting.

At the moment, my only demand on my new airline is that no seat reclines. Period.

I would just as soon have everybody have the same limited space with no intrusion.

I’m actually surprised at how often people are courteous and don’t recline their seats.
