You forget what a pain in the ass it is to read a story in play form, until you have no choice.

My free library electronic ticket came up so I got the new Harry Potter story.

The story itself is a little too sour, particularly with the children, but it is nice to revisit these familiar characters.

What isn’t nice is reading it as a play, unfolding with short hits and all caps lead-ins.

Not fun and confusing.

It would have been fun to try it as a………what else…….book.
