Bosch is a terrific cop series on Amazon.
Titus Welliver is perfect in lifting Harry Bosch off the book pages.
A third season just finished and the characters are sharper and more interesting than ever.
Special kudos go to the writer who finally writes an interesting teenage character.
Bosch’s daughter is not some whiny prop or brooding inarticulate surly creature.
She is real and a little bit of a lot of things. The scenes with her and her dad are wonderful.
And one particular scene with her and another teenage daughter of a cop talking
about dads and danger and ambition, is just spot on.
We watch The Americans and if I have to endure many more scenes of the
troubled daughter as a one-dimensional prop I may throw up.
