This review is from: Steppin` Out – The A&M Years 1979-89 – Joe Jackson (Audio CD)
This is one of those cases where you finally listen to Jackson beyond the hits, and realize
there was a reason you heard the hits and not his other songs. A few exceptions, but for the most part, it wasn’t worth hearing what I hadn’t heard before. |

This review is from: America’s Mistress: The Life and Times of Miss Eartha Kitt (Kindle Edition)
I always was fascinated by Eartha Kitt. I learned a lot in this honest biography.
It isn’t particularly well written and approaches plodding at times. But it has great insights about a fascinating person. |

This review is from: Furious George: My Forty Years Surviving NBA Divas, Clueless GMs, and Poor Shot Selection (Hardcover)
I love autobiographies where the author is a jerk and by the end of the book you are affirmed that he is
a jerk and probably doesn’t even know it. Karl’s drive for success led to a lot of success, just not a lot of friends. He is honest in ripping and praising players and others he encounters along the way. If your team is in the book, and mine is, it is fascinating to watch him lay waste to the years he was there. |

This review is from: Gwendy’s Button Box (Kindle Edition)
King is at the very top of his game and I was all in on finding out what would happen to our main character.
A beginning to end blast. |

This review is from: Life at the Dakota: New York’s Most Unusual Address (Kindle Edition)
I would rate it higher except for the Dakota infighting that grows tedious. Nice history of the building
and wonderful tidbits make it worth a strong like. |
