I always washed my hands like a little boy told by his mother to wash them before dinner.

Splash water, maybe soap and move on as quickly as possible. If you use our current sing happy birthday completely twice as a measure, I would take as long as “Happy birthday to you.”

Now of course everything has changed.

And much to my surprise, long, thorough handwashing really feels good. My hands

are smooth and feel wonderful. It is a revelation. Whooda thunk it?

I’m converted forever.

And……….it only took 72 years!
