Almost alone in Cleveland

I saw a couple stories lately about how strange it was to see Cleveland Indians baseball games back in 70’s.
It triggered memories for sure.
My brother and I and a friend made a road trip to Boston that included games at Fenway Park. (The Boston fans, who I thought obnoxious, were mowed down by the Yankees and Reggie Jackson something like 14-1. Since I don’t like the Yankees either it was fun to watch the Sox fans suffer except when you think about who was making them suffer.)
On the way back from Boston we stopped in Cleveland to see an Indians game at Municipal Stadium.
It was unbelievable.
In this huge, cavernous stadium, there couldn’t have been more than a few thousand of us.
It was almost eery to look around at all the empty seats. You could hear anyone who care enough to yell easily.
And this was major league baseball?
