Went to see a movie called “Card Counter” yesterday.

Classic case of why critics are useless.

A slow, sour, depressing and not even logical movie. It has good pieces, visuals, but as a whole it is an unpleasant mess. The critics were no doubt drawn to the takedown of enhanced interogation by the “evil” United States.

That’s always good for a good rotten tomato rating.

But us mortal moviegoers who like a good story told well are really unimpressed, thus the huge difference between critics and actual moviegoers.aa
