I went to see the new Batman. I have little interest in superhero movies and little interest in Batman movies. But it was carpet day at home I was looking for the longest movie possible to escape. At three hours (what’s next, a four hour Superman?) it was perfect.

The good? It really was good. The makers turned it into a chase the killer thriller that held interest.

The bad? Not a hint of humor. And Pattinson’s Batman offers all the acting range of a mummy. And when he does actually speak, he whispers and mumbles. So do the other characters. Maddening.
