On those occasions where I surf commercial television I notice the vast majority of ads fall into two categories.

Class action lawsuits trying to dredge up business for trial attorneys.

And ads selling all kinds of disease remedies. The amusing thing about those ads is that after spending 10 seconds telling you all the good it will do, they need 15 seconds with a voice moving faster than the speed of sounds telling all the bad things that can happen if you take it, before ending on a high note.

I’m glad the government makes them come clean but the list of horrible results is so long and scary, I’m not

sure how effective the wonder cures are.

I just don’t want to find out on either end.
