One other Disney World story.

I rode my last roller coaster in this lifetime with my granddaughter Naomi who is 7.

It was horrible. I was horrified the entire time and remember yelling “Oh Shit” involuntary more than a few times.

After the ride was over and everyone compared notes my granddaughter said she loved it but “Baba kept yelling the S word and there was a little girl in the car behind us.”

I felt bad but it helped a little when I saw one of those endless Disney photo snaps of us in mid plunge. Naomi is thrilled. I’ve got a frightened grimace on my face. But in the car behind us the dad was in full whoop and his daughter was in a happy scream.

They were having too much fun to pay attention to the foulmouthed frightened old fart.
