The new nonstop Dreamliner flight to Japan from Denver has begun.

The Denver Post has offered lots of coverage about the plane, the economics, the financial possibilities, all the officials patting each other on the back.

But no story I have read has said anything about what the average reader wants to know the most…………………………how much does it cost and what are the flight times? By the way, I looked it up. Flights start at $1,800 and the flight times are interesting.

Newsrooms used to have somebody whose job it was to look at the story and say “we ought to throw something in about prices and times.”

At the Post they must have all taken buyouts.

We the readers lose.
