A charmer on every level

Been there done that

An original movie that has a message that hasn’t been put forward this way before. Sam Rockwell should get a supporting actor nomination.

So good. Not only holds up to The Shining, is is arguably even better. Real scares, great casting.

It has its moments, but the action scenes don’t seem as effective as in past efforts

Critics are all wet. An engaging action movie that covers even more than Midway but the early years of the Pacific theater of the war.

Critics delight. Slow, dreamy, pretentious, impenetrable. I found it a dreadful waste of two hours

Badly written and nice periods of fun.

For us hardcore fans it is a winner. A few plot stretches but all is forgiven. Truly enjoyable.

Really good story and action, too violent for me at times but all in all this is well done and critics are full of it as usual.

Way too long for what you get. Good acting and moments and ending. But closer to mediocre than high quality.

You could drive a truck through the plot. But I loved it. Morgan Freeman for President and Nick Nolte for bad dad of the year!

Fun, clever, fresh.

Not bad but surprised at the rave reviews. It is well done but the all to obvious setup for a sequel does not have me drooling
