Three completely random observations.

I am reading Arsenio Hall’s autobiography and it is entertaining as hell. Funny, fast and provocative.

I ripped Alamo Theaters a while back for making you order using an iphone during the movie, the opposite of their goal of keeping a theater quiet and dark. I went t a screening when visiting near Washington D.C. and the young man explained I could only use the device until 10 minutes before the show starts and it would not work while was the movie was on.

Finally, I made my weekend walk around the elementary school down the street when it is deserted on weekends yesterday and noticed an invitation for the students to chalk messages. It was touching. “Mrs. K is the bees knees”, “Miss H is the best” and a lot of good stuff. The old man in me who worries so much about where we are headed for my grandchildren teared up when I passed a big one that said “You Make the World a Better Place.”
